Based in Everett, Massachusetts, Idle Hands Craft Ales is the Boston area’s only nanobrewery. They hand craft their beer with a nod towards belgian styles mixed with new world ideas. Founded in 2010, they recently received their federal license only days before the new year and are currently planning to produce their first commercial beers by late Winter/early Spring 2011.
The beers that the company produce are handmade, so I wanted to create a logo that conveyed this in a visual way. The ‘Idle hands’ in the logo come together to form the shape of a beer tankard, and give a great interpretation of the comapny strapline ‘What do you do with your Idle Hands?’
