Valero Doval

| Compare: | How much does a Logo cost? |

Valero Doval is a Spanish artist that combines hand drawn elements with collage, often cleverly piecing together objects with similar themes, which is evident in this Illustration for Elephant magazine. Combining a bird with a plane is a simple yet elegant concept, and Valero executes it in a stunning way.
Valero distinctly separates his editorial work from his personal work on his website. Both sections are fun to look at, as his concepts are intriguing and colorful. My favorite section is his collection has to be of his circus pets, which combines vintage photographs of dogs and cats with various shapes in a humorous way.
To see more of his work, visit his site and also be sure to check out his Etsy store as well.

Also for your viewing pleasure…

Can a logo ever be too simple?
I’ve brought this question up once before in a slightly similar post titled “When is a logo too simple?” but after posting Kate Spade’s new logo (shown above) on Logo Of The Day, I think it’s a good time to bring it up again."
